Oscar De La Hoya Heads To Rehab For Substance Abuse

LOS ANGELES (CBS) — Boxer legend Oscar De La Hoya has reportedly checked himself into a rehabilitation facility in California.
Entertainment Web site TMZ.com reports De La Hoya entered the facility sometime in the past few weeks. TMZ reports he has voluntarily begun treatment for substance abuse.
Baby Survives Toss Down NYC Trash Chute

A teenage mother was charged Sunday for allegedly tossing her newborn baby into a garbage chute.
The baby survived, but police were still trying to find out Sunday why the disturbing crime happened, reports CBS 2′s Derricke Dennis.

A shadowy man suspected of fighting against US soldiers in Iraq has sparked a far-flung terror probe after entering New York Harbor as a stowaway aboard a freighter and taking up residence in a fenced-off Port Authority warehouse, The Post has learned.
