It's Over But We Still Have Children Together!

Friday, 09 March 2012 17:55
It's Over But We Still Have Children Together!

One of the most challenging parts of any divorce, separation or break-up from a long-term relationship is getting along with your ex. In some cases, after you´ve divided up your possessions and worked out other financial and practical matters, you can wipe the slate clean and never look back.

If children are involved, though, this is not usually an option. You have to learn how to get along, be adults, and let go of your resentments -- not only for your own well-being but for the sake of your children. Now, if you´re thinking your kids can´t tell that you´re harboring feelings of resentment, anger or betrayal toward your ex because you mask it so well on the surface, think again. Children respond to who you are and how you feel more than how you pretend to be.

In time, and as you begin to release naturally, your feelings of resentment against your spouse will melt away. While this will make getting along with your ex much easier on you, the most important thing is the impact it will have on your children. They will definitely appreciate your openness to your ex, and in turn will develop a deeper, more open relationship with you.

If anyone you know is currently going through a divorce or break up and they have children, do pass the show info along to them so that they, too, can benefit from this show topic as well.

Let's Get It On With Relationship Coach Sadie! Only on BKS1 Radio.

Get grown and sexy with the convo about this adult situation facing many in today's society. Chime in with your opinions on how to handle your X when you have a new relationship.

How do you deal with your X? When your X knows you have a new relationship, can that be a big problem? Has an X-Factor asked you out on a date, knowing that you’re in a relationship? Why do they think it’s ok to cross that threshold?  Have you ever entertained the possibility of going out with your X while you’re in a relationship? Would you tell your significant other or not?

Joining us tonight are two very special and talented guests: Author Dawn L. Forte and Singer Derion Hall.

Author Dawn L. Forte

Dawn Forte' is from Plainfied, NJ. She's the mother of four adult children and 2 beautiful grandchildren. "The Sum of My Mistakes is her debut novel. Singer Derion Hall

Derion Hall, Originally from Dayton, Ohio, was raised in a musical family... yet had no idea that singing, writing, and entertaining would ultimately be his passion. Part military brat, part go-getter, Derion was no stranger to dedication and making big moves. In his teens he discovered that he too had a god-given musical ear and aptitude for singing, performing, and writing.

In the midst of determining his life path, his urge to entertain the masses dictated his next move. Armed with his natural talent and desire, he set off to New York City to pursue his dream..becoming a major recording artist.

While making his living as a fitness model, personal trainer and gym manager, Derion spent all his spare time writing and networking. He did a few "singing competition" tv show cattle calls and quickly learned that wasn't the route he wanted to go. He then tapped long- time family friend and producer Tyrice "Tyjamz" Jones to complete his musical vision.

That collaboration has resulted in the emergence of the real Derion Hall. The singer, dancer, writer, and entertainer. A fearless vibe that will make you dance, get you right at the club, catch the ladies, and get heads noddin! Come find out what we already know. Derion Hall. #BlessedAndHumble

Lets Get It On With Relationship Coach Sadie Show| Tonights Topic: Wife vs. Mistress

Saturday, 21 April 2012 14:42
Lets Get It On With Relationship Coach Sadie Show| Tonights Topic: Wife vs. Mistress

Wife vs. Mistress

Mistress: A mysterious sexy woman that a married man sees in secret to have a romantic and sexual relationship with. This is the definition of a mistress. There is good sex, hotel room adventures, late nights, seductive phone calls, exciting secret dates, gifts and the thrill of doing something bad. But is being a mistress as glamorous as it seems?

Yes, BUT only at first. Being a mistress has its exciting moments and these are the moments that convince women to become a mistress in the first place. In the beginning, the mistress holds all the power. She is the one who has the married man under a love spell and she gets all his attention and time that he should be spending with his wife. She is the one he fantasizes about when he is with his wife and the one he misses. He urges for her company and longs to hear her voice.

Being a mistress offers a lot of convenes: the woman gets dined and treated like a lady, she gets as much sex as time permits, she may even get some money for shopping not having to wash anyone else’s socks and she doesn’t have to put up with sport on the TV or have to deal with the man coming back drunk.

A mistress is a lover, not a wife!

What is the benefit of being a wife as opposed to his mistress?
Marriage is for companionship, general well being, and sharing decisions while sexual intimacy is a celebration of togetherness, not the reason for togetherness.

Join Relationship coach Sadie as she discusses the sticky situation created when a tangled web of love and deception takes place between husband, wife, and mistress. Are you in a relationship like this? Are you the Mistress, Wife, or Husband? Call in 646-233-1302 with your thoughts, views, or questions.

Making Bad Relationship Choices!| Special Guests: Musician Cassio Ware and Actor David Emani

TOPIC: MAKING BAD RELATIONSHIP CHOICES

Ever get involved with someone and your gut told you that, that person was not the person for u. So u ignored it and "WHAM"! All hell literally breaks lose.

You realize that he or she is not the person you thought they were. You see the RED FLAG waving so hard that you know it will eventually slap you in the face, but you ignore it because he or she is "HOT" and you just have to have that person!

In the end you know that you could have avoided the hurt and even resentment. So, how can you make better choices? How can you avoid the Red Flags.....let's discuss and see if we can change the way we make our relationship choices. Lets get Grown & Sexy with it!

MUSICAL GUEST CASSIO WARE

Newark New Jersey born Cassio James Vincent Ware II started off playing classical piano and then began freestyling on keyboards at his father's church and in club sensations with legendary DJ Naeem Johnson. He was a member of the Back Room Music Productions trio which included himself, Derrick Jenkins, and Dwayne Spen Richardson. This production company gave birth to the female diva trio JOMANDA. Cassio was also part of the group Ruffneck. He then branched off to pursue his singing career and work as a solo producer.

He teamed up with B.O.P. Productions producer Paul Scott and worked along side the garage stalwarts, Blaze. Who are responsible for his underground success in music with various hits such as, " My Baby Love", "Never Thought I See You Again", "Like Paradise", and the big hit "Funky People". Cassio has consistently developed his stage performance with the assistance of a group of producers, DJ Ruben Torro, Big Moises, Tee Alford and Allen Jeffrey, Godfather of house "Chip E.", DJ Danny Rod of Ultimate Ent., DJ Crime, DJ Dough Boy, the entire O.G. camp, dancers, singers, models, athletes and actors known as The Funky People. Now with Funky People Recordings Inc, he was responsible for the creation of "Funky People". Their debut single, aptly titled "Funky People", fused old school jazz and soul roots with crisp house beats and received the attention way beyond the ever-supportive Paul "Trouble" Anderson.

This was licensed to Slip 'N' Slide on this side of the Atlantic, Blaze and Masters At Work have added their seasoned touch to Cassio's individual style and undoubtedly increasingly influential house sound. Cassio Ware is currently the CEO of Cassio Ware Corp., Funky Soul Recordings, Groove Music Entertainment, and Chocolate Cake Inc.. He is currently remixing and producing and collaborating as an artist with various producers all over the world.

Special Guest: Actor David Emani

“David Emani is a handsome leading man who has all of New York a buzz with his emotionally stirring yet effortless stage performances.” “David Emani’s (playing Captain Davenport) stage presence alone, and in that uniform to bat, was so commanding it could even make women say, “Wow! Where do I sign up?” But I got more than just Wow! Emani is a talent that’s just waiting to explode on any major scene.”

By Janice D. Saddler, Esq. A Soldier’s Triumph, Soul Biz Online.

Emani is attended New School of Film and TV as well as HB Studio for his stage training. With his acting versatility and powerful, yet subtle presence, he has smoothly moved from starring theater roles to leading man status in numerous films over the last four years. After his leading role in the 2009 Turtleneck Gang he completed several plays before returning in the film in The Red Bowtie which opens this July 6th, playing opposite Shaheed Shaheed. David Emani will next appear as Pastor Mack in the 2013 release entitled Unveiled.
