Feeling insecure in a relationship can be natural up to a point, at least until the relationship "settles". However, insecurity can destroy a relationship. It drives people to become too 'clingy' or needy and this creates problems. Insecurity causes us to try to control others, and causes us to resist the control of others.
When we enter an intimate relationship we can feel very emotionally vulnerable; especially if we already have a lack of self confidence or self-esteem or have felt let down or hurt in previous relationships. Your insecurity will lead you to start looking for signs of things "going wrong" and you usually find what you are looking for, even if it doesn't exist. People who are highly insecure are more likely to interpret their partners' actions in a negative way and then choose to respond in kind.
Typical thoughts and feelings of an insecure partner include * Will they reject me? * Have I done something to upset them? * This is just too good to last! * Why did they say that? * Who's this other person they've mentioned? * Why did they pause after I said ______?"
Insecure partners also tend to end relationships first. It is easier to walk away rather than risk the pain of abandonment. But we all need the comforts and support that intimacy can bring us. So what can you do if insecurity is damaging your relationship?

Mistress: A mysterious sexy woman that a married man sees in secret to have a romantic and sexual relationship with. This is the definition of a mistress. There is good sex, hotel room adventures, late nights, seductive phone calls, exciting secret dates, gifts and the thrill of doing something bad. But is being a mistress as glamorous as it seems?
Yes, BUT only at first. Being a mistress has its exciting moments and these are the moments that convince women to become a mistress in the first place. In the beginning, the mistress holds all the power. She is the one who has the married man under a love spell and she gets all his attention and time that he should be spending with his wife. She is the one he fantasizes about when he is with his wife and the one he misses. He urges for her company and longs to hear her voice.
Being a mistress offers a lot of convenes: the woman gets dined and treated like a lady, she gets as much sex as time permits, she may even get some money for shopping not having to wash anyone else’s socks and she doesn’t have to put up with sport on the TV or have to deal with the man coming back drunk.
A mistress is a lover, not a wife!
What is the benefit of being a wife as opposed to his mistress? Marriage is for companionship, general well being, and sharing decisions while sexual intimacy is a celebration of togetherness, not the reason for togetherness.
Join Relationship coach Sadie as she discusses the sticky situation created when a tangled web of love and deception takes place between husband, wife, and mistress. Are you in a relationship like this? Are you the Mistress, Wife, or Husband? Call in 646-233-1302 with your thoughts, views, or questions.

Sometimes men and women expect the people closest to them to take the words loyalty, friendship, respect just as seriously as they do. Sometimes we expect that men and women will have the same morals and values when it comes to "Treating Others They Way They Would Like Too". Sometimes we hold people on a pedestal and make them out to be "saints" when really they are the last person you should trust, mainly because they’re so close to you. Still don't get it confused it's ok having a best friend or to share your deepest of secrets or most sacred of memories, with your sister or close relative, but when it comes to your relationships there should always be a line drawn. Not everyone feels this way, but as I said some friends can just do no wrong.
Most often its only takes one thought for someone to cheat or fool around, but no one wants to hawk the people are most important to them. A person could drive themselves crazy, but Trust is a hard thing to come by especially when it involves matters of the heart. Most men and women in relationships say "I trust you, I just don't trust him/her"....CLASSIC phrase, and its never completely true... so Who's fault is it when a best friend cheats with the girlfriend or a sister fools around with the ex-boyfriend. Is it the cheated for not hawking or being so naive or is it the cheater for lacking any human decency whatsoever. Its funny to think of it when its someone else going through the motions, but what if it were you in such scenario's. Does the classic phrase "Bro's before hoes" come in to play after all or do you dead both for being so thoughtless and dishonest. Who is worst for sleeping with the enemy?!
The Grown Sexy Situation crew brings you another hot topic! Cheaters, If They Cheat Once Do You Think They’ll Cheat Again? and Will You Take Them Back?. Special guests will be Mike from The R&B Group 112 and Florina “Flo” Kaja from Bad Girls Club. Join in on another great debate and talented guests.

Topic: Already In A relationship But Attracted To Someone Else.
Is it true that if you start the relationship being the other woman you will never be the only woman? Is it true that sharing is caring? We live in a society where men having side chicks or a mistress on the side happens all the time. For some men having a main woman without a side chick is like having a meal without a drink.
Oddly enough there are plenty of women that willingly participate with this type of dynamic and they play their position well. While others refuse to deal with it at all. But, why do women allow themselves to be put in this category? Is it because they receive great benefits, lavish gifts, bills paid and all the two minute sex sessions she could dream of. Is this worth the trade off of not being the main girl?
What about women who have extramarital affairs? Is it because of lack of intimacy, not enough sex, poor sex, or perhaps she feels wounded, betrayed and seeking revenge? If you are already in a relationship and attracted to someone else is it right? Is sharing caring? Let's talk about it tonight on the OWWHH show at 11:00 pm est on Bks1Radio.com.
