The Problems Insecurity Can Cause In Your Relationship
Wednesday, 25 April 2012 23:06TONIGHT'S TOPIC- THE PROBLEMS INSECURITY CAN CAUSE IN YOUR RELATIONSHIPS"
Being in a relationship is far from easy. You have to put in some work,compromise, understanding and some unconditional love needs to added. Its a shame relationships don't automatically come with trust and honesty. Sometimes partners can become insecure or not trusting of their partner. Sometimes insecurities can turn into something we don't know how to deal with well or interpret as abuse. We are gonna talk about some signs to look out for if you think you have an insecure partner, friend, etc;
Special Guest: Bio - Author and Motivational Speaker Wil Townsend
Wil Townsend is a sought after motivational speaker, coach and mentor who spreads hope, love and joy with his interactive presentations throughout the U.S.A and Canada. With his blazing quick wit and amazing stage presence, Wil delivers a high-energy message that enables women, men and youth to live up to their own personal greatness which in turn makes it possible to have healthy, loving relationships.
He first realized his calling in the 90's when he was touring the nation with the R&B sensation Asante, (signed with Columbia Records), and experienced first hand the depths to which women will lower themselves to catch the eye of a man. His momentary "star status" and connections to giant producers such as Denny Foster and Tommy McElroy, the creator of En Vogue, made him the focus of many women. Although he admits he had his fun, he realized on some level that something needed to be done!
Ev
en after he retired from the music industry it was quite apparent that women in general would willingly subject themselves to demoralizing behavior from men. Through his own experiences and others, he realized that people everywhere are in search of love and will go to great lengths to get it and/or keep it. Unfortunately, "many are willing to sell themselves short in order to get what they think they want." By compromising their morals and beliefs, people have lost an integral part of themselves that will result in unhappiness in the long-run.
Wil has interviewed hundreds of men and tells it how it is from a man's point of view. He goes into depth about men and women's needs and desires and also points out the game, the pitfalls and the red flags that women should be on the lookout for. His powerful message implores women to take back their power and respect by taking the proper steps in setting a strong foundation; which in turn creates positive energy internally and within the relationship.

The Dark Shadows Behind Relationships!
Thursday, 31 May 2012 13:20The dark shadow to the demise of a relationship doesn't always lie between the two people dating. Many times it’s the opinions, thoughts, and manipulative ways of close friends that can take your man or females mind in other directions. Men and women often look to their closest associates or friends to vent or share their personal issues, but what if that advice is purposely misguided. When your friends should be there to guide you in the right direction they become the dark shadow that follows the relationship to its end. Let's talk about it with the lovely ladies of O.W.W.H.H.!

Domestic Violence
Thursday, 16 August 2012 18:26Domestic Violence
It’s an all too familiar sight these days seeing a celebrity, or celebrity couple in the news for a domestic violence act perpetrated against one or the other. As Domestic Violence incidences increase, has society reached a point where it has become accepted in today’s culture as the norm? Has the fame of the celebrity or marrying for money played a major part in how the public views the offender and victim?
Just as we unite and band together against other injustices in society, we need to band together against one of the worse forms of violence in today’s society. A persons financial status, celebrity or fame should not cloud our views on how violent and hurtful the act of domestic violence really is.
Let's talk about it!
Why Do People Stay In Bad Or Toxic Relationships?| Special Guest: Singer Gina Hiraizumi
Saturday, 18 August 2012 15:57Why do people stay in bad or toxic relationships? Is it because of familiarity to them and fear of change? The fear of the unknown and uncertainty of the result, whether it will be bad and disappointing as well will cause someone to remain in an unhealthy situation. Another reason could be the person has been brainwashed and led to believe that they need to be in the relationship to survive. Along with those reasons one of the most common factors is the dominant partner will separate the other from their family, friends , and loved ones making them believe that they are the only ones in their corner. Getting Over A Serious Relationship| Guest Host: Bad Girls Club Season 9 Drea Jones| Special Guests: American Int. DB Carron McCluney, Gardner-Webb DL Maurice Dickson, and Syracuse Univ. LB Marcus Sprus
Friday, 04 January 2013 18:19Getting over a serious relationship - New year brings new love, challenges, living for you, dealing with baggage, baby mama drama.
Relationship break ups can be rough especially going into the new year. After all nothing lasts forever. This is a lesson we all learn the hard way. Break ups are emotionally exhausting, stressful and can be extremely difficult. Some people start to dwell in remorse, depression, and regret. While others tend to inflict self harm.
If your relationship ended, you may start to assume that you are just unlucky in love, you might be nervous about stepping back into the dating pool, or you may be nervous that you will never find true love. But in order to deal with a new partner or find new love you first have to deal with baggage from the past. Including previous relationship baggage, baby mama drama, and current emotional baggage.
While everyone is affected differently by events from their past, some people are affected to the point that it prevents them from moving ahead to the future. If the past prevents you from moving forward you may have psychological baggage. Tonight the ladies of OWWHH is going to get deep. After all, you can't live for someone else if you first don't live for yourself.

Live In The Vocal Booth Artist Review: Fred Hammond - United Tenors| Tonight's Topic: Forbidden Love| Special Guest: Singer/Actor Christopher Williams
Saturday, 06 April 2013 13:56Artist Review: Fred Hammond
Fred Hammond’s 13th CD, UNITED TENORS: Hammond, Hollister, Roberson, Wilson, debuts #1 on Billboard’s Gospel sales charts, and #39 on the Billboard Top-200. This scores Hammond, considered the chief architect of urban praise & worship, his 7th #1 Gospel debut.
UNITED TENORS: Hammond, Hollister, Roberson, Wilson brings a fresh perspective to praise and worship, with Hammond bringing together an impressive male ensemble to sing praises to the Lord. “For a long time women have been at the forefront of the Gospel music sound, and we want to complement that and show what it looks like when men worship together; and also show that men CAN worship together” says Hammond.
The United Tenors recently made appearances in Atlanta, Philadelphia, Richmond, Virginia and Washington, D.C. to promote the album. The first single from the United Tenors is “Here In Our Praise,” which is one of the most added songs at Gospel radio this week. It is a mellow sing-along in which they sing in unison: “With our hearts Lord, we worship you and we won’t be the same. In your power O Lord, we are changed! As we lift up your name let your presence reign over us as we worship you.” Watch the video here to experience “Here In Our Praise” for yourself à UT VIDEO.

Special Guest: Christopher Williams
Christopher Williams has a voice that is as rich as brewed coffee-full, robust, leaves you craving for more. Just like quality coffee- his music has a way of comforting you. Making you feel warm all over all the while energizing you for more. In a time when musical tastes are changing faster than ever, it is comforting to know that singers like Christopher Williams are never changing but evolving and just getting better with time.
Raised in the Bronx, NY. Christopher Williams attended Mt. Zion Baptist Church in New York with his grandparents. While singing in the church choir his grandmother proclaimed what was already proven to be his God given gift -“This boy can Sing!”-and with those words would eventually prove to be prophetic for Williams and lead him into a full fledged music career.
In 1974, after watching an inspirational live performance of his aunt, legendary singer- Ella Fitzgerald performing with Count Basie and Frank Sinatra, Christopher Williams’ fate had been set. It was more than the feeling he had seeing his favorites such as The Jackson Five, Teddy Pendergrass and Aretha Franklin at the world-famous Apollo Theater with his mother and sister. This feeling was different, while sitting at the piano with Frank Sinatra and Count Basie that night, a young Williams felt- “Wow, This is so amazing! I want to do this one day.”
Before getting a record deal, Christopher Williams decided that if he was going to make entertainment a tangible career, he would put in real work and real effort to learn his craft -he enrolled in Purchase College in New York City- a performing arts school where he studied theater arts and acting.
Two years later, while still in school, Williams decided to try his hand at music. He recorded an impressive two song demo: Remember, with Amir and Royal Bayyan and I’m Your Present produced by Timmy Allen (who went on to produce artists such as Brittany Spears, Backstreet Boys and R. Kelly).
This demo led to Williams’ signing his first record deal with Geffen Records setting off the beginning of Williams’ success as a singer with the release of his first album Adventures in Paradise. Adventures in Paradise included the chart topping and unforgettable hits- Promises Promises and Talk to Myself.
In 1991 Christopher Williams streak of musical success continued with a move to Uptown Records and his sophomore album Changes. Williams topped the charts with four singles- All I See, Every Little Thing You Do, Come On and Go with Me and Dreamin. That same year, Williams had the opportunity to add acting to his growing list of successes and starred in the now cult classic, hip hop film- New Jack City, starring his Purchase College classmate- Wesley Snipes. The film opened, nationwide, to rave box office sales and reviews. It was official- Christopher Williams was a superstar!
As Christopher Williams matured and grew, as did the direction and style of the type of music he wanted to produce, so in 1995 Christopher Williams signed with Giant Records and recorded his third studio album- Not A Perfect Man which spawned the hit Dance 4 Me. In 2002, Williams recorded his fourth project- Real Men Do on his own label, August/Renegade Records.
