Assistant Police Chief Jeff Corcoran of the University of Cincinnati Police said officers were called to the university's Turner Hall at around 3:00am local time Saturday after receiving a report of an assault. Despite vomiting and crying for help, Mr. Perez was left to suffer for over six hours before receiving medical attention. Tragically, by the time he was seen by emergency personnel, it was too late. An elderly Catholic deacon working as a chaplain at a Queens prison has been arrested for allegedly paying an inmate to perform sex acts on him.
